The Director and Founder of Miss Milburn's Tuition brings over 20 years of teaching experience. With a background that includes Achievement and Assessment Lead and a previous Assistant Head, they have a wealth of experience in the UK education system.
Their qualifications include a BSc (Hons) degree in Science, a Master's in Education specialising in maths mastery, and an MBA. Additionally, they have earned the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and have experience working with exam boards, including NFER, OCR and the Department for Education.
This extensive expertise ensures a high-quality, tailored tutoring experience for every student.

I am an enthusiastic primary school teacher, currently teaching in Key Stage 1 in an Infant school in Leigh-on-Sea. I have 10 years of teaching experience, ranging from Early Years through to Year 3. I offer maths and English tuition to children of primary school age and ensure my lessons are fun and engaging whilst being tailored to the needs of each child. I have 10 years of experience working in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). During this time, I have developed a strong passion for teaching younger children, particularly supporting them with their phonics learning. I have extensive experience teaching the Read Write Inc (RWI) programme and have also worked with the Jolly Phonics programme. My teaching approach is kind, enthusiastic, and approachable, ensuring that lessons are engaging and enjoyable for every learner. The sessions will take place online and will be tailored to each student’s individual pace to ensure a thorough understanding of the phonics programme. I can adapt my lessons to focus on specific needs or target particular sounds as required.
